Studio of fine art.
I enjoy using vibrant and rich colors to bring out the life of the objects and scenery I paint. I often employ perspective to bring the viewer into the painting. These are tools I continue to develop in order to involve the viewer in my vision.
For as long as I can remember, art has been an important part of my life. It began with ceramics and now continues with painting. Expressing what I see it, how I feel it and how it affects me is what drives me to paint.
My goal is to express nature’s beauty. Every painting I undertake, whether it be my own creation or a commission, I find to be an enjoyable challenge because no two paintings are the same. I love color and especially to blend colors which perhaps aren’t always seen together.
My composition and subject matter is grounded in realism. That is to say that you can find an interesting story to tell in the common experiences we witness on a daily basis. Inspired by the Impressionists, I paint not the object itself, but the way light hits the surface of the object. I have found my own unique style at a very early stage. I hope you feel the same emotion from my paintings that I get from creating them.
